Movie Premieres!

Hey, my favorite friends ever...

I thought I would drop in and tell you about my past two weeks.

After my cool adventures in Texas, 4th of July, etc., I returned to Nashville where my band and I spent a week hanging out together and rehearsing. ﾠWe actually have a new guitarist now - his name is Jon and he is an American guy so we are no longer an all Australian band (give us time - we will change Jon into a Aussie). ﾠFor those who didn't know, Dan (my old guitarist) had to return home to Australia. ﾠHe will be greatly missed but Jon has come to fill his place.ﾠ

I had a really cool past week. ﾠI have been to two movie premieres. ﾠI had never been to a movie premiere before last week when I was invited to attend the premiere for a movie called "The Goods". ﾠIt was written by Will Ferrell, andﾠJeremy Piven from Entourage is the main character. ﾠIt was a funny movie, a little bit of dumb humour. ﾠSometimes I can be a bit slow, though, and don't quite get some jokes right away, so it was a bit embarrassing when the joke had already happened and two minutes later when I understood what it meant I would begin laughing... exactly when the whole cinema was quiet during a serious moment... I only got a couple of stares - ha ha! ﾠThis premiere was held in Nashville so it was nice and close - I didn't have to fly anywhere. ﾠThe 2nd premiere I went to was in Los Angeles for the new kids 3D movie called "G-Force". ﾠI really enjoyed this movie because I am a big kid myself. ﾠIt is about a group of guinea pigs who were special agents and had to protect the world. ﾠMy pets growing up were never like these ones, well, not as far as I knew of. ﾠ:) ﾠThe red carpet in LA was crazy - so many photographers and media people! ﾠI had to go shopping for my own dress two days before this premiere and i discovered that shopping can be over-rated if you have to walk like 10miles/km to find what you are looking for... not cool! ﾠI am so glad I wore flat shoes that day!

I am in LA at the moment looking out onto Sunset Blvd. ﾠIt was such a nice day, the sun was out with a clear blue sky. ﾠHave I mentioned how much I LOVE summer?!

Well, guess where I am flying to tonight????? ﾠNo, not back to Nashville, but back to Australia for a week. ﾠYAY! ﾠI am going home to see my family and friends for a week or so. ﾠThe only thing I am not looking forward to is going back to the cold weather in Australia - yucky. ﾠWhen I get back to the US I will be heading out on the road again to visit radio stations and hopefully play for some of my American fans. ﾠLooking forward to seeing you guys soon. PS... don't tell anyone that I told you, but we should be releasing my 2nd single in the US very shortly, so keep your eyes open for it.
